Dream View Lodge sits on the quiet Cosby side of the Smokies, a little removed from the Pigeon Forge strip, which is exactly the point. These are the local spots we actually send our guests to: real BBQ, a surprisingly good roadside coffee shop, a family-run diner, and honest Mexican and Honduran food.
A true-authentic vibe and excellent food, baked beans and pulled pork done right. A crazy roadside attraction hosted by Doc and his wife. You won’t forget your visit here.
Surprisingly good coffee shop tucked in next to the laundromat, right by Jack’s Market (the nearest gas station, just to the left on 321). A handy first stop on your way in or out.
Another classic local diner. People love the breakfasts here, the down-home atmosphere and the friendly service: eggs, biscuits, breakfast wraps, pancakes and waffles, with soups, salads and burgers for lunch.
One of the classic BBQ joints in the area. They’ve since opened another location in downtown Gatlinburg. They do a picnic pack if you’re looking to take food with you somewhere.
Real Mexican and Honduran food in a small, family-run cafe. A true neighborhood favorite, not a huge tourist restaurant. Great family-run energy, excellent fajitas and tacos, and extremely good value for money.
Our 5-bedroom lodge on 25 private acres sleeps up to 16, with these local spots in the area.
