We rent big group cabins, so the question we hear most is where to eat with a crowd. This is our short list: BBQ, steakhouses, a Brazilian steakhouse and some easy family spots between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Always call ahead with a big party so they can plan for you.
Local Goat is my favorite restaurant in town. They do healthy portions of locally sourced food, all scratch-made in their kitchen. All delicious. Also craft beers and drinks. Great for large groups, but do call ahead. Try the salmon, the Tennessee Whiskey Burger, or the ribs. The fried deviled eggs are a must!
Just off the parkway in Pigeon Forge you will find the Bullfish Grill, which has delicious fresh seafood, filet mignon, cilantro lime grilled shrimp, and a wedge salad.
Sunliner Diner has a 50s theme, burgers, and crazy ice cream sundaes. Try their candied bacon, classic banana split, and chicken and waffles. A fun place to try for the whole family.
This restaurant is an experience! Great salad bar, excellent service, and tasty, unlimited food. Brazilian meats include sirloin, sausage, teriyaki chicken, spare ribs, and more! Open on many holidays, including Thanksgiving!
This off-the-beaten-path restaurant has a nice atmosphere, great wings, and excellent margaritas! The ambience is family friendly and you can enjoy a turkey club, a country fried steak, or an orange soak cake.
Wonderful steak, great salad bar, and scrumptious spinach mac ’n cheese. Upscale mountain lodge atmosphere. Call for reservations. Open Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Wonderful steak, smoked oysters, bacon, and a generous salad bar! There are romantic views of the river too. Highly recommend.
Try their aged steak, hand-cut and seasoned in house, then grilled over an oak fire. They grind their own burgers, make all of their own soups, sauces & gravies, as well as hand-bread and cook their mozzarella sticks. They serve rolls with really good sweet butter. Try their stuffed mushrooms too! Call for reservations.
One of the classic BBQ joints in the area. They’ve since opened another location in downtown Gatlinburg. They do a picnic pack if you’re looking to take food with you somewhere.
Our cabins are built for groups, with room to spread out and these restaurants a short drive away.
